It looks fantastic without texturing, honestly. The outside colour works. Gives it a more subdued look than a scary paintjob would, therefore making it more subtly threatening. Also, what's the scale on this thing? Billiard ball or Epcot?
Beautiful work. I like this model.
damn.....
nice work....:D

To tell you the truth I'am not decided with his size yet But I think he could be the same size like that rolling droids with the forcefields in Star Wars ep3... Thank for the comment Thank for +fav

Pretty big and conspicuous for a spy, isn't it? People tend to notice a metre-wide metal ball rolling itself along.

Alternately, you could drop the spy angle and call it the 23rd century answer to paratroopers. Plane flies over enemy territory, dropping dozens of these guys like bombs. They bounce, unfold, those jumpjets (I assume that's what the yellow things are) slow them down so they can land safely. War ensues.
Ok let's call this thing fast attack droid not a recon...to make fast raids on the enemy territory and retreat and nice idea with then dropping from the planes...thanks!! by the way I've almost completed the textures of his armor plates and soon will work with the interiors...so u could see the updates very soon!
yer this is awesome, what software did u use? ive only been using maya for a couple of months and have noooo idea how u would make sumthing like this, espeacially turning into a ball
